Moral Values, what are they, and what do they mean.  During this time that we discuss this topic, I would
like to ask for your input.  Please feel free to contact POL through the web site 'contact' page or emailing
directly.  It is our hope in the near future to have a blog set up, yet till that time, please use this form of
communcating with POL Ministry.

Moral Values are what makes the world a great place to live.  They are the thought processes that get us through the day
and allow us the ability to know what is right and wrong.  God instills in each of us a
Moral Compass.  The Moral Compass
that we are given grows greater the closer we come to God, and once we have given ourselves to Him, the Moral Values we
have learned will develop more as we mature with God.  This ssems simple as we have the Moral Values that we learn, and
our
Moral Compass that directs us.  When the two, our Moral Values and our Moral Compass, are going in the same
direction, the world goes well and God approves.  However, if we know what should be done correctly (Moral Values), but
our
Moral Compass directs us in another direction, God then disapproves, and we are not moving toward His Will.  With
this is mind,we will now begin the discussion on Moral Values and our
Moral Compass.  I do hope you enjoy it, learn from
it, and, yes, even question it.

Our Moral Values!
We came together because of our moral values: care and responsibility, fairness and equality, freedom and courage,
fulfillment in life, opportunity and community, cooperation and trust, honesty and openness.  Moral values at the national
level are idealized family values projected onto the nation.  If you empathize with family values and your children, you will
want them to have strong protection, fair and equal treatment and fulfillment in life.  Fulfillment requires freedom, freedom
requires opportunity and opportunity requires prosperity.  Since your family lives in, and requires, a community,
community building and community service are required.  Community requires cooperation, which requires trust, which
requires honesty and open communication.

Our moral identity is how you view and describe yourself in ethical terms—honest, caring, opposed to cheating, committed
to doing the right thing, etc.  Now the big question, "Does our society have a real sense of what is right or wrong
anymore?"  With all the things going on in the world, we do need to may sure we answer the 'Big Question' properly.  God
and His Word gives up all the correct answers.  All we have to do is surrender to Him, and the 'Big Question' will always be
correct.

The world, of course, wants us to think differently.  The world would like for us to change our Moral Values to be in more
alliance with what the world thinks is correct.  Some of the world agrees with God and His Word, but would just like to
tweek it so that it matches up better with what the world likes, such as abortion, homosexual rights, and greed at all costs.
The world would like people to believe that Moral Values should be allowed to change as long as what happens does not
hurt anyone elses, and that 'I' and 'me' are most important.  However, it is not God's desire for us to act in this way.

God wants us to make sure our Moral Values and
Moral Compass are agreeing with each other all the times.  We should
not allow our
Moral Compass to sway to make people feel better if they are not following the correct Moral Values.  It may
be hard to make our
Moral Compass follow God's Values, which should be our values, but God will be there for you always
and bless you far more than waivering away.  It is so wonderful to let God be in charge!

The way I see it is that the world today is at an impass.  It is time for each of us to come together as believers in Jesus
Christ and do the what is morally right.  We need to stop thinking about 'me.'  Everyone would like to do what satisfies
them as an individual, but this is not always right for the whole and not correct the way Jesus would look at it.  God wants
our
Moral Compass to follow the Moral Values that He has placed in our hearts, but we want to do it 'my way!'

Whether it is to have an abortion, a homosexual relationship, a sexual relationship outside or before marriage, greed of
money or anything that is just for us and makes only 'me' feel better irreguardless what the consequences are to anyone
else.  Today, more than ever, we need to and have to start thinking more about just 'myself' and begin considering others
that may be affected by what 'I do.'  Governments, parents, role models, friends, we all need to think more about our Moral
Values when confronted by a situation, and make sure we follow our correct
Moral Compass.

It is now more important than ever for each of us to get our relationship with Jesus Christ on the positive and correct
ground.  Think about what I have said, talk to other people about what I have said, and please make sure your Moral Values
and
Moral Compass are in agreement.  God wants you so much to do the 'right thing' so He may send down His many
blessings to you.
