will be for the glory of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. He is the main reason Pathway Of Light has
come into being, and it is with Jesus in mind that the Pathway Of Light Ministry has been developed.

Pathway Of Light will have within its web borders The Ten Commandments, A Pathway to Salvation,
devotionals, a Prayer List and inspirational scriptures elevating Jesus. It has been and will be designed
in the future to attract our fellow-Christians as well as the non-believers in hopes to winning them over to
Christ. Pathway Of Light will have listings of most all Christian Churches and Christian based schools in
the the servicing area.

Pathway Of Light is supported by Christian businesses. These Christian businesses are listed by
catagories with information about them, addresses, and links to their websites provided. Each one of
these Christian businesses have signed a Statement of Faith professing: "The participating business
does hereby state that the person representing the business has accepted Jesus Christ as their
personal Saviour and desires to run their business according to Jesus Christ, our Lord and
Saviour." This is being done to confirm that Pathway Of Light is building up Jesus Christ, and every
business in it is a strong believer in Jesus and will do those things to elevate Jesus to the forefront in all
their daily activities.

I, Bob Braxton, am the publisher and author of Pathway of Light Christian Directory Ministry
Website, but not exactly. The idea and thoughts for the Pathway of Light Ministries come from
God. Afterall, everything that is good His hands are always there guiding and directing it. Jesus
Christ has done much with my life during the time before the creation of this ministry, and I give
all the glory that this website, people it touches, and thoughts it brings about to Him. He is so
awesome that my hope is that every word, thought, and idea that comes from here will be for the
benefit of His overall good. While God created Pathway of Light Christian Business Ministry
Website, He is doing it through me so I will let you know a little about me, and how awesome God
has been in my life. I feel that by doing this you can understand what a great undertaking this
website desires to become a vehicle which God can touch people in their lives from all different
aspects, even the web.

GOD'S MIRACLE: I DIED, HE GAVE ME LIFE

My life begin in eastern North Carolina, Pitt County, on August 11, 1953. I was raised on a farm and
attended Winterville school, elementary through high school, untiil I graduated in May, 1971. Duriing
those years, God worked miraculous miracles in my life. He blessed me with two fantastic parents and
three great siblings, two older brothers and one older sister. Our family was close as we would put in
tobacco, picked cucumbers, corn, potatoes, and had cows, chickens, mules and horses of the farm. My
mohter was a nurse during my early years and worked much to much. So my father was in charge of my
upbringing in church. We attended Reedy Branch OFWB near Winterville where I accepted Jesus Christ
as my Lord and Savior at age 10. At that time, God had already performed two miracles my life, once at
age 5 and again during age 7 & 8. Then at age 12, I sufferred a brain injury while playing Little League
baseball on April 1 1966. It was here that God performed a miracle that changed my life forever, I was hit
in the head, directly on the temple, by a pitched ball. At that time, players wore only protection covering
their ears. The damage was done from the pitched ball in that it caused bleeding to start on the left side
of my brain. I was carried to Pitt Memorial Hospital where they performed the first 'crane-niodemy" ever
in eastern NC. Dr. Longino cut out my skull an area about 4 by 3 inches. This was done to remove the
pressure from my brain. During the operation, I stopped breathing and my heart stopped beating. At this
time, an angel came down and took me by the hand. The angel said to me, "The Lord is making a
decision whether to leave you here with my parents and take me to Heaven with Him." It told me not to
worry and to sit while God made the decision. The angel and I sat above the operating room watching Dr.
Longino and the staff in the operating room try to get my heart to start beating and get me to breathe.
After working franticly for several minutes, Dr. Longino told the staff that I was not going to make it and
he was going to go tell my parents that their son was dead. As Dr. Longino left the operating room, the
angel told me that the Lord's decision was to leave me hear with my parents and that I should reenter my
body. It was done. Later, Dr. Longino would tell me what happenned from that point on, but in the
meantime, the operating staff got him back in the room where Dr. Longino said, "Well, I do not know how
he has made in this far, but lets get this kid ready to go to Duke Hopital as he (me) could die at Duke just
as well as he (me again) could die here."

I was rushed by ambulance to Duke Hospital in Durham, NC. The doctors at Duke finished the operation
by removing the blood clot and packing me in ice so to keep my blood pressure and body tempeture
down. I remained in a coma and packed in ice for 41 days. From this point, I was moved on the 42nd day,
and there was not much hope given me. All the time this was happenning, my parents were by my side
all the time, my sister was taking care of the house and getting ready for college, one brother was starting
a career playing major league baseball, and my other brother was working and looking after his family.
Yet, they were all praying, along with several other people in eastern NC, and God was with me so I was
not afraid. On the 75th day, the doctors at Duke told them there was little hope for me to servive and if I
did, I would be a "vegetable" my remaining days on earth. They told my parents I may never recover
from the coma. Boy, did God have other plans for me! My mother and father would not accept this. My
father came to the room the next day, 76th in a come, with a wheel chair and told the hospital staff that he
was taking me home. As my father placed me in the wheel chair, I gained consciousness. My parents
brought me home and begain working with me. My mom taught me how to speak again, how to read
again, how to use my hands again. My father would take my feet and place them on the top of his feet
while he walked me around the house teaching me how to walk again. One August 18, with the help of a
wonderful mom and dad and my brothers and sister and the ultimate healer of everything, God, I walked
into Dr. Longino's office. He called it a miracle that I had come this far, but wait I came even further. I
made a complete recovery, played baseball again, finished school in the proper time frame, graduted
from college, once with a degree in English and a second degree, MBA. I met a beautiful lady, married,
had three beautiful children, have seen more miracles that have come from God than one man deserves,
and now have the blessing of this wonderful ministry, Pathway of Light Christian Business Directory
Website.

It is my hope that this gives you a little insight as to why God means so much to me, and why it is my
desire to let the whole world know how much love God has for each of us. God and Love go together as
God created love through his son, Jesus Christ, by having Him die on the cross for each and everyone of
our sins. Then performing the miraculous miracle of having Him conquer death so we can know we can
also conquer death and have eternal life in Heaven with Him. It is so super fantastic to know this is what
our future can be if we will have hope, faith, and trust in God, our Heavenly Father.

The miracles that happen for me are happening everyday in the world. God is so awesome, wonderful,
magnificent (any word does not truly give God his due) that His miraculous works can be occurring anytime to
anyone. He performs them in the smallest of events to the grand scale. However, we should make sure to give
God credit for all of them. They may not be as miraculous as what happened for me, but, just the same, miracles
are occurring.

I have met many people during my travels that have had miracles from God take place in their lives. It is my
hope to bring you some of these people's stories whether it is about their business or their families. If you know
of any miracles that have happened to you or people you know, I do want you to forward these to me so that I
may include these.

In reading these miracles, you should look around you and be thankful for all the blessings God has given you.
There may be someone you just met that has had a miracle come about in their life. Make sure you get to know
these individuals, have conversations with people, really get to know people, and watch God's miraculous
blessing grow even more abundant in your life as you know that God's miracles are happennig all the time.
