| MY COMMITMENT AS A CHRISTIAN I am part of a fellowship that is unashamed. I have stepped over the line. My decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I will never look back, let up, slow down, back up, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present has purpose, and my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, small planning, smooth knees, lackluster dreams, commonplace talking, cheap living, and belittled goals. I no longer need celebrity, position, promotions, prosperity, accolades, or popularity. I do not have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regard, or rewarded. I now live by faith, lean on His presence, walk with patience, soar in His prayers, and am made hold by His power. My face is set, my pace is fast, my goal is Heaven, my road is fixed, my way rugged, my companions few, my Guide reliable, and my mission clear. I cannot be bought, delude, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up, let up, or shut up until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, preached up for the cause of Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus. I must go till He comes, give till I drop, preach till all know, and work till I can labor no more. When He comes for His own, He will have no problem recognizing me as my banner will be clear! |
